Melanie's Hospital Pictures ~ Fort Myers Newborn Photographer

I was so honored when Kelli asked me during her late pregnancy to take her baby girl's newborn pictures.  A baby's birth is such a memorable moment in a mother's life, and for her to allow me to document this momentous occasion for her was a huge privilege to me.  Here are some of my favorite pictures of one-day-old Melanie taken at Lee Memorial Healthpark Medical Center with some of the comments left on my photography page and Kelli's wall on Facebook.  More pictures are to come.  I'm going to be visiting Kelli's home this weekend to take more traditional newborn pictures.  I can't wait!!

The Smith Family ~ Fort Myers Family Photographer

The lovely Smith family was a delight to photograph.  Gale and Melvin are a cute couple, and are so in love!  Their eight month old baby, Johnieann, melted my heart as soon as I met her.  She's such a perfect baby, and she smiled the entire afternoon.  We met at Koreshan State Park in Estero.  The weather was perfect, and the park was very quiet... besides Gale and me making silly noises at Johnieann to keep that big smile on her face.  My favorite pictures from the afternoon are the close ups of Johnieann with her custom hat from Peanut Crochet for Kids and her dressed in her white christening gown, the family posing on the bridge and dock, and adorable Johnieann sitting in the big oak tree surrounded by Spanish moss.  

 

Joelle and her adorable boys ~ Fort Myers Family Photographer

I was so honored to spend New Years Eve afternoon photographing Joelle and her  precious boys at  the Koreshan State Park in Estero.  If you have never been to this magnificent state park, you must go.  Around every corner is another breathtaking scene.  It is a photographer's paradise.  In fact as we were leaving, we crossed paths with a wedding party being photographed.

Josh and Ben are the definition of sweet boys.  They are so charming.  I must quote Joelle's description of her babies:

Josh will be 6 in April. He is a sensitive, imaginative and intelligent boy. Goofball that loves Star Wars.

Ben is 2. He is a stubborn but sweet cherub who is very active. He adores his big brother. He loves CARS and Legos.
